yes, a friend of mine did it for me. i dont own a garage or the proper tools to have completed this on my own.

i did my first ever "half throttle boost" pull yesterday and i let off right when the wastegate open and the car was just stupid. this car will not catch 1st, 2nd or 3rd (tire pending lol) with stock tires.

@Xclusive_racer ---- yes this is retarded cheap. i will promise anyone looking. you WILL NOT find a cheaper one ever.. especially with no rust, super clean body and and a clean title/history.

If I had my Subaru sold or you were closer, I'd pick it up in a heartbeat. No joke. I'm selling my 2.5rsti to do an FD w/ either an LS1 or 2JZ so this would save me a lot of time and money.

This car CANNOT drive your 2-4 hour tip. NO ONE in their right mind would sell a single turbo 2jz FD3s clean title rx-7 for $10,000 that could be daily driven. Come on people, use some sense. IF it ran "perfectly" I wouldn't let it go for less than $14,000!! .... Thank you.

smoking has nothing to do with it mechanically running. tunning isn't an issue AT ALL. it steers just fine. Its all stock. ECU, injectors, map, you name it. just upgraded single turbo and a denso TT fuel pump with a 12v mod.

you'll be in 4th gear the entire time. tires in the back are at like 15% tread. and tires up front are dry rotted (still hold air just fine)..breaks are shot (they stop the car fine though)..

its not worth spending $10k and having a tire pop while doing 60mpg and crash into a guard rail on your way back home. when you could have spent the extra $300 in gas+ truck & trailer, with a 100% guarantee safe way home.

BTW BTW BTW: i dont think its the trans causing the no 5th or reverse..the shift linkage isn't traveling all the way over to even go in those two gears.. i would be willing to bet money its the linkage not the trans.

yes but im in too deep with my s14 i cant justify selling it or forking out the cash for another car i wouldn't stop putting $ in. maybe in 2years ill be ready for it.
