hey everybody, this is how you spew diarrhea from your mouths. How To Talk from Ass 101...

as much as i find this video amusing, it seems like the steering wheel is the extreme of cheap shit. I'm sure there are some fakes that can handle more abuse, but don't get me wrong - you cant beat the real deal

im just saying, take the video with a grain of salt.

OR OR OR OR OR ORORORORORORRRRRRR

Cheap asses can run a very reliable stock wheel until they have enough money to buy a Nardi.

But no, we all gotta fucking fit in dont we?

PS-I rock rotas. Even got my center caps on them

you're doing it wrong. bolted in a hub and in use... you turn it left and right...

the amount of force of a person standing over it is greater than that of you turning it.

it's bent because he applied greater force by jumping on it with all his weight. and the way the steering wheel spokes are built. of course it's of cheaper quality, so it's bound to be a little damaged.

i weigh 185lbs @ 8% body fat, i guarantee i can do the same for any steering wheel that's built like that.

just look at the spokes and it's structure of how it's built. metals will bend with the right amount of pressure applied.

I'm saying that because, even if you buy a cheap Momo wheel used, it's still better quality than that crap they sell on Ebay. Yes, I do also believe that Momo is better than Grant.

I can vouch for the shit steering wheel as well. I had one on my first car and my aunt moved it across the street for me and it got all twisted and bent since I had no power steering and she had to make a u turn. Learned my lesson early and the easy way.

When buying parts, you should invest the proper amount of money in components that when broken, could cause you to die instantly.

Everyone should see this! I got a knock off steering wheel used and saw how it bent already, saved up and bought a real Nardi classic, love it. Don't buy knock off steering wheels, period. Use your stock one, or get the real deal.

Then tell me, what kind of use of the wheel is he replicating by standing on it at that position? And the "bending" test he did at the end was totally useless becuase it wasn't bolted to a hub and most of his energy was focused on keeping the wheel stationary and not actually bending it.

When you test a product, you dont only test it for resistance to regular daily use, it has to be tested for when its stressed outside of its normal duty. For example in this situation, Impacts (crashes, punching, ect..), excessive force (loss of power steering, pushing car by steering wheel, using wheel to reposition yourself and so on...). Testing a product for its ability to withstand forces outside its normal use is just as important, if not more so than regular loads.

If any sort of force was applied to the top section of the wheel, it would bend like spagetti. Any sort of offset, multi-directional or irregular loading would ruin that wheel as we saw in the first video.

The wheels shit, stop trying to defend it.

I'm not really surprised at the quality of the product as much as the amount of people defending it.

Real HKB hubs are actually pretty beefy, but all the ebay hubs come in boxes marked HKB.

I have to say, Im actually quite surprised at how easy the counterfeit one bent! Im glad mine is real! And I did get mine on ebay, it was used and didnt cost that much more than the fake ones people are selling brand new on here. I think people just need to have a little patience and buy used. Thats how you can save money and still have good quality parts.
