![]() ![]() ![]() ....But I might just keep my stock bumper IF I ever come up on a charge speed lip, and just run a flush pair of skirts and valences. If not I might just cross over and do a modest Silvia conversion and just stick with the factory areo. Damn, finding a legitimate lip for the Sil front is a bitch too.... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by deadghost; 12-05-2011 at 02:51 PM.. |

Trust me I feel your pain.
We are all in the same book just in different chapters. I went through a "sileighty" phase, a "onevia" phase, a "type x phase". You get burned on a look especially when people continue trying to pass off stock cars as something they are not.

Thanks for the words of wisdom. I think I just regret selling my hatch, hence the whole txpe X on a coupe... buyers remorse. Which as I see it now looks pretty tacky and awkward. Maybe I have Car OCD or something. Curious to ask though, but whats your current phase with your coupe? More pics to keep this damn thread alive. Is it me, or do some flip up aero coupes look better without aero rear bumpers? |

In America we got them as coupes
In Japan they are Silvia's with 180sx front ends Its the same thing. ![]() ![]() ![]() And then there are people like me who get s14's and put 180sx front ends on them ![]() ![]() ![]()

Its just i see people calling their 240sx a Onevia. There is also a difference a Onevia has to be built. Another thing if you realized i posted a pic of my onevia cuz i live in Japan and own one and know the difference. Its just people get so pumped at calling a 240sx a Onevia when its just not the front end that's different. I love it though my Japanese friends make fun of it when you people's call it a 240sx a Onevia.

This is funny because I was thinking about saying something about the "conversion" and "trend"(it comes from the factory like that? So assumed you meant ones with big kits from Japan) yesterday, but decided it wasn't really worth it, only to come back today to several people pointing it out.

Those of us that actually build the harnesses and do the conversion care, you're a freaking poser, calling your stock car something it is NOT.

Nissan made having a Silvia easier for folks in JP... Whatevs. This argument is pointless as this is the "Onevia AERO thread." Meaning cars with Onevia styling, not neccisarily cars that are proper Onevia's

i think you messed up something there I'll go ahead and point it out. Quote:
If a coupe was called a onevia from the factory, your argument would make a little more sense. That being said, this should be the main point Like the majority of cars in the kouki aero thread are not kouki 180sx, its about the aero. |

Thats why the threads are named "the onevia AERO thread" and "the kouki 180sx type-x AERO thread"... Its not claiming that the cars are "real" or not, they just have the aero.
