To keep the 5.0 or trade for a 370Z that is the question...
I know this forum will be a little bia's on opinion, but what would you guys do. Trade a 2011 Mustang GT 6spd for a 2011 370Z Base 6SPD or keep the Muscle? BTW, I know the Z needs a different set of wheels.

Personally i think the mustangs are pretty sick. i'd keep it and just slam it with some decent wheels. Then just build a 600whp beast with some loud ass kenny belle supercharger and just watch all the panties fly at you as you drive down the street. done deal.

I say keep the 5.0 too, you can't make that power with the 370z just on bolt-ons.

Keep it
I'm a anti American pos cars. But the 370 blows. Drive one then you will know. The drive by wire clutch brake and gas makes it feel like your playing forzA -_- |

i read in a recent motortrend or car and driver and they tested a few sports cars, the 370z and mustang included, and they rated the mustangs handling better than the Z

you should go to Nissan 370Z Forum
people ask this question every other day there. I'm sure you will get better results. |

Keep it for sure!
Idk about the GT, but I love my '12 Boss, cool to meet another Mustang owner here. The 370z isn't bad at all, but I didn't care for it as much based on a test drive last year. if you're so intent on trading up, do the 650hp Gt500 next year. Also the GT next year gets Recaros & Tosen diff optional & HID's standard. Power is bumped to 420hp Still, just keep what you have. Mod it if you will, it's a great platform to do so. The only thing I disagree with, & I'm nitpicking, is that you didn't get the Brembo pkg. |

Thats because we're in the good old U.S.A. Think about it, who labels these cars with "value"??? Americans, because thats where we live. Don't get me wrong I love being American, just saying if this were Japan the "value" would be made by the Japaneses.

I'm with everyone else. Keep the Stang. There's nothing that you'll like more about the Z. Plus, SYNC is one of the (if not THE) best bluetooth/hands free media systems on the market. That alone is worth it.

The Z is a great car but I would honestly consider the trade a downgrade for you, a neighbor of mine has a 5.0 with a procharger and that thing is fucking nuts. Bang for the buck the 5.0 is a far better car, and much cheaper on insurance ![]() |
