NA horsepower junkyard hunting is decently easy in our area, tons of 1UZs and VH45s at the local picknpull that can be had at 300 or less, trans and adapters are easy to come by. Aftermarket isn't the best for making more hp so a ls series later will likely be the best bet unless you got fabbing skill/tools, later if your trying to make it on track this season..if you got bank to drop LS that bastard with a sikky kit and smile.
