Double clutching is when say you're making a 3/2 downshift, 1)brake 2)clutch in 3)neutral 4)clutch out 5)heel&toe throttle blip 6)clutch in 7)2nd gear 8)clutch out. Basically its rev matching the input shaft of the transmission as well as the motor by performing the heel and toe when the car is in neutral with the clutch in. Completely pointless in a modern tranny w/synchros.
