When you bend it up you have to bend it back down when you install the new set of numbers. So I can just take the spindle of numbers off my original cluster and replace the one on the hud cluster I'm planning to install?

Before removing the numbers you will want to put a little strip of tape across them otherwise when you take it out they will fall out of order.

its nothing special.

Slow down turbo. Most of these cars odometer are exempt. If I bought a car with 65,000 miles, I don't want to look at an odometer that's got 175,000 miles.
