3m windo-weld vs. Loctite PL premium advance

Not sure if this is the right place to put it, please remove and relocate.

Anyways, i just picked up some used Nismo mounts from a fellow member here. And i was thinking while i havent installed it, to stiffen it up so it'll last longer.

Ive been reading between 3m windo-weld and it gives it a good amount of sturdiness.

Also the Loctite PL premium (not advance) are much softer that 3M yet sturdy aswell..

but i came across this Loctite PL Premium Advance. Anybody used this one to toughened up their motor mounts?

from Loctite's website - "Loctite® PL Premium® ADVANCED is 100% polyurethane and is 3 times stronger than traditional construction adhesives. It has 4 times the Initial Grab than our Original PL Premium® Formulation, is still repositionable and is virtually VOC free."

So i was wondering if anyone has use this. And/OR are they stiffer than 3M windo-weld.

the car is just for daily use, but i dont want it to have sloppy shifting.

Thanks.

edit: i think this topic is better off @ "chat" my bad..

oh and i have no money to drop for new stiffer mounts like cusco's or w/e.

I just used the loctite pl polyurethane construction adhesive on my motor mounts, once dried they felt pretty solid, put them in and shifts feel firmer, and I let them sit for a week before installing them

Nismo mounts are fine as is.

You should use the 3m window weld on stock mounts,.

packed a stock mount with window weld, lasted about 1000 miles before it started to pull off
once you get windo weld on your skin its never coming off... lol

if the window weld was properly applied (cleaned off with no grease or debris remains), they will last a while.

Seconded.

My nismo mounts even after 30,000 miles were still as good as new, and that's with a ton of track days on them. I switched only because I wanted to lower the engine (went with JGS mounts) to clear my new strut brace.
