240sx brake booster differences

As far as I know the two different brake boosters are the one for the 240sx with ABS and the one without ABS. But I've also read that there is a difference between the auto trans and manual trans.

So my question is are there any other brake boosters besides those two and is the one that is used for the ABS models the same use for the auto trans models.

Best way to tell is to go to a site like autozone or o'reilly, search up the different parts using the different variables and check the part numbers. For instance, if the booster for ABS and the one for non-ABS have different numbers, they're different. Then say the booster for manual has the same number as the auto, it's the same. Only takes a few minutes and works with any part really.

You could also check the FSM. You didn't mention what year you're looking at, but I'm pretty sure each model only has 2, manual and ABS/auto.

Courtesyparts.com will be a good spot to check. Look under OEM parts. However, there are only two variations between all models. By that I mean, S13 has two, S14 has two, etc....

S14 Non-ABS, manual transmission brake booster is the smallest brake booster of all the S-chassis boosters.

yeah pretty old thread but only difference as i've just called the parts store is that on s13's they just ask for abs or non-abs. so either manual or auto will work fine as long as it's for the correct set-up.
