ACT clutch kits go for around 300, not sure about exedy though. If you're looking to just replace the clutch disc, you might want to consider changing the pressure plate, pilot bushing and throw out while you're in there.

yeah,i already decided on getting that exedy clutch kit(includes:Exedy pressure plate,Exedy organic disc,Release bearing (throwout bearing),Pilot bearing/bushing (if required) ,Alignment tool) from ebay.
But what about labor part,ho wmuch would it cost me?

just do it yourself, it's really not that hard... just do a bit of research, gather up a couple of friends, and set aside a weekend. i just did mine... saving money feels good!

Yeah, I just got done with my own clutch install - same kit in fact. Took me longer than usual to do mine as I'm new to the 91 240SX. But man, the satisfaction of doing-it-yourself definately looms upon completion. At least for me. After researching forums such as Zilvia.net's, I found that many have been able to do it themselves at home, some by their lonesome. I can say that the clutch replacement will need a sufficient amount of tools and some help definately wouldn't hurt. If you're not the type to go about getting dirty on your car, then fork out the cash for someone at a shop to do it. For me most of the shops employ little ricer kids, the kind who read the Import mags and use them as service manuals. Quite frankly I don't trust the ricer kids in my area to work on my car, let alone pay for them to work on it. I'm still fixing what the last owner's kids did to the 240...

The hardest part of replacing the clutch is just bringing down the transmission. Everything else requires just the right tool. Took me 6 hours the second time around, by myself in my garage but I only had to replace the pressure plate and disc.

bringing the tranny down is the easy part... it's putting it back up when it starts to suck.
