Same thing happened on my s13. Got my buddy's help push the clutch while I was under the car, just make sure you unscrew the bleeder screw almost all the way out because I was being lazy by only turning it a little and it wouldn't get all the bubbles out..GL!

Lol at these comment. It takes less then a min for the fluid to travel from master to slave. But sometime issue like this happens. Take a holes that fit into the bleeder long enough so u can use it. Then u have a guy pump the clutch while u suck the hose with the bleeder loose. Do this till I start to smell the fluid in the line. Some times it needs guiding

For some reason ive always had trouble bleeding my clutch. It just takes a long time, more than brakes. I use my hand to pump it up and bleed it a couple times, then when it eventually gets pressure you can use your foot. If you want to do it by yourself, use a long length of plastic hose and run it from the bleeder up to the master. Then you just pump the pedal until you only see fluid going back into the master. Then tighten the bleeder and you're all set.

be sure that when you bleed it to keep the pedal all the way down the open and close the valve super quick and keep pumping and restart. just don't lift up ion the pedal when the valve is open...or else your going to find yourself in the same situation. and when i replaced my clutch in my 14 sr it took like 15 minutes to bleed. lol

If its two things I hate doing on 240 is bleeding the clutch and cooling system. The best way of bleeding the clutch system after so many times of doing it is to go to the clutch pedal and loosen the rod that connects to the pedal. Unscrew it as much as possible that way when u push the clutch pedal down, it pushes the piston further and get more air out, if you dont do this its going to take forever to bleed! After u start getting some pedal, start adjusting the rod until u have about 1/4 to 1/2 inch of play on the pedal. This part suks even more, u have to drive the car around and have to keep adjusting it till u get the sweet spot, sometimes u will have too much play and clutch wont disengage all the way, other times u will have no play and clutch will slip. It takes alot of time and trial and error, I hate doing it

are you depressing the pedal slowly or quickly? how many times are you pressing it. try pressing it about 30 times, slowly. keep the pedal down as you open then close the bleeder. pressing too quickly causes the fluid to froth which leads to air in the system, some say

take the clutch damper. get a new unit master and slave cylinder then bleed it.
i suspect a leaking master or slave cylinder tahts why is not building pressure |

the solutions are the same for the problems you were having before, but also adjusting the clutch pedal. research into 'adjusting clutch pedal' that might help.
