why are knicks fans mad that lin signed with houston? they should be mad at ownership/management for not matching or not being more aggressive in pursuing lin in the first place. knicks could have just matched, but i guess this guy named James Dolan wouldn't pay out the pocket for lin. did they really think that lin would come back and play for peanuts?
McHale has shown that he's been a shitty GM all those years in Minnesota. Just ask Kevin Garnett. |

Johnette Howard -- Minus Jeremy Lin, Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks better win - ESPN New York
Good article. I have never liked the black-hole called melo. I guess they will barely make the playoffs.

Jeremy Lin confronts critics - TrueHoop Blog - ESPN
Looks like our resident Knicks know-all is actually just as stupid as he presented himself to be last season. Right now, the Knicks would be starting Felton (probably), Gucci Mane, Melodrama, Amar’e and Tyson Chandler… They'd so best to let Baron Davis either retire or go elsewhere, but with their history of paying the wrong person, they will retina him, lol |

![]() My friend had sent this to me earlier...I swear, The Cavs and Lakers are ready to make this happen (from all of the reports that I've read/hear on talk radio) but it looks like Magic are dragging their feet?! I want this to either happen NOW or just come out and say that it's not going down so that we can all move on... |

I don't mind the change, (The flagrant change seems amazing) I just hope it doesn't make the games tedious. I kinda wish there was a time limit on the review, but whatever. Refs need either a larger screen courtside, or they need better tools to zoom in and out. Some plays are just way too close to be viewed adequately on a 20" monitor, or whatever smallish screen they keep courtside. |

D12 is an ass! He spent all of last season asking to be traded. Then when the season finally draws to a close guess what! He signs a 1 year extension and says he is too loyal to Orlando. A couple of months later he is back to square one. If you want to be free to choose which team you play for you should have become a UNRESTRICTED FREE AGENT. Idk what was going through his mind. You had to know Orlando was only interested in trading you and getting the best possible deal for themselves. He is a just stupid, and whatever sports agent or friends he has in his circle are steering him in the wrong direction.

Fuck Dolan, Melo, and Knicks FO.. letting Lin walk for nothing. Shit was personal and I hope they lose twice as much by next week. If Melo and this AARP Knicks club doesn't pass at least the first round, Nets will be my favorite team in NY.

Looks like the Nets will be NY's team now. Good for them, their FO knows what they're doing. |

i'd like to see a NY and Brooklyn rivalry, both teams seem flawed and not ready to compete but both boast star power. |

That and they're still pulling alot of the Chinese viewers/market even tho Yao retired. Replace him with another Chinese and viewership will be back, or atleast stop/slow them from jumping ship.

I can't say one bit that I blame you for your anger. The Knicks fans using this as a jumpoff point to blame Jeremy Lin for doing EXACTLY as he was told and getting his motherfuckin' money instead of taking an insultingly low offer from a shittily-run organization are the problem.

Did the Knicks even offered Lin a contract to begin with? My undestanding was, they were being cheap and figured nobody would pay Lin crazy money. So they sat on their ass to see what his market value is, correct?

The thing was that they did not make the first offer, instead telling him to go and "let the market show what he is worth." After this, he was supposed to NOT sign an offer sheet, and come back to them and sign a deal based upon what he was offered. THIS WAS FUCKING STUPID!!! Instead, he SIGNED the offer sheet, which put the onus on them to MATCH or beat the offer sheet, and they watched a contract that will subsidize itself in non-basketball money leave because the Knicks organization is run by fucking retards. |

Supposedly, dolan says that although he could have matched, he felt betrayed that lin went to find a contract and then went back to the rockets to get more money and structure it back loaded to hurt the knicks cap even more. Dolan choose not to match, not because of the money, but because of the spite he feels.
Don’t get me wrong, I would be mad too, but shouldn’t he put all those personal and emotional issues aside and do what’s best for the organization? But then again, this is James Dolan, the guy who is stubborn, disagrees with walsh after he cleaned up Isaiah’s mess, let walsh walk, and won’t listen to anyone who tells him Carmelo is not the answer because that’s his guy. I’m sure the only guy he would listen to is Isaiah Thomas. |
