You need an amplifier to push them if you want any sort of decent volume. It would be like expecting your 240 to runs 8's in the 1/4 mile with only 100hp. Your stock radio has at best 12 watts or so per channel. Even a new aftermarket radio will only be 18 watts RMS x 4. I would highly recommend the ARC Audio Xdi 804 to power everything(80 watts RMS x 4)... let me know if you need any pricing. It's an amazing amp for the money. It also comes in a very small chassis, so you can easily mount it under one of the front seats. Also, those MB Quarts are actually not a very good speaker. The company use to make very good speakers 20 years ago... but now it's under totally different ownership and it is Chinese made product. Regardless they will sound worlds better with a good amount of power.
