Are SOHC and DOHC chassis harnesses the same?

I just got an 89 hatch with seriously fucked up wiring so I was just going to swap all the wiring from my 93 hatch into it. The fuse box harness and the chassis harness.

If I swap both of these into my SOHC shell it's pretty much like changing it into a DOHC shell correct? So I can just drop a KA24DE in and roll with it?

short answer is a no.

Let me google that for you

you would have to take like most/all sohc wiring out and replace it with dohc. as well as your ka24de.

the speedometor and stuff will not work you need a DOHC cluster.

Im swapping the whole chassis harness out of a dohc. Also has dohc cluster and fuse box engine bay harness.. so that is all dohc wiring, shouldn't it work?

By dohc interior and dash harness do you mean the harness that goes under the dash and into the engine bay?

Cause isnt there only the fusebox harness that is in the engine bay that goes under the wheel wells and under the dash, and then the actual chassis harness which goes back to the taillights? Cause i planned on swapping both.

So does anyone know? I'm about to spend $175 on a fuse box harness and really don't want it to be a waste.
