I have a 245/45 tire on a 18x10 in the front and have rubbing issues on the wheel well when i go over bumps on the freeway or cornering hard. Would a 40 sidewall give much more room for clearance?

All depends on tire. Are you looking to run fat tires or stretch tires? For stretch- Front just roll with 215/40 around -2.5 camber Rear you can just roll with 225/40 with -5 camber or small pull and run -3 btw are you buying those wheels from CZ wheels? |

Searched rim tuck and searched here and still kind find and answer. Just got a good deal on a set of 18x9 +23 wheels that I am going to be installing on my s13 coupe. There are people on rimtuck claiming to run a higher et on a 9, but I've also seen people say they needed spacers for wheels with lower et's. Will I need spacers to clear stance coils in the front and if so any idea on what size? I'm installing the same time I install my 5 lug or else I would test fit. Thanks ahead of time for any help.

I'd say you probably don't but worse case scenerio get a slip on 5mm spacer... I'd say it's nothing to worry about deal with it when it comes....

Know lets get back to fitting. If you want no pull run 225/35 and run about -4 camber. You should be fine. |

Depends on the coilover, how thick the body is and whether the perch are slotted or not. I cleared my Topline Aragostas, slotted all the way in, with that sizing and cleared it by a a mm or so. Only way to really know is put it on.

Would likely be Stance GR+s. Obviously I could get them to fit with the right spacer/camber combo if I had to. But its my winter beater so im just fucking around with it. Dont even have the coils yet.

So I've got 17X9.5"+12 P45R with 595 federals-235/40 with 25mm spacers up front running about 8 degrees of caster.
My question is at what point do the tires hit the firewall, I already had to bang out the pinch rail on the firewall for my angle kit and I don't like the tires being that close. Should I run more caster or ditch the spacer and hope it clears my suspension arms? |

I was looking at these exact rims for my S13. Except I have to choose between 17x9 with +25 or +12. I'm pretty sure the +12mm would fit but i cannot find a picture of it. Anybody run a 17x9 +12mm with stock fenders and no pull? I can get a fender roller but i need to know if they will fit. I would run a 235/40/17 tire. Thanks a bunch
This one has Work meshies 17x8 +5 215/45 and 17x9 +18 235/45 ![]() ![]() The rear looks like it has a little more offset to go before hitting fender. So it seems like a 17x9 +12mm would fit the rear ok but what about the front? |

Is anyone running 17x10.5 -10 225/45 on stock metal fenders (obviously rolled and pulled) in the rear and 17x9 +10 205/50 (for now plan on 205/45s) in the front on an s14? Im sure it can fit... just a matter of time and effort but i plan on running that setup and was curious if anyone has pictures of this setup or something similar?

i would roll it a bit though because depending on your tire size it will be close. i like 215 45 as a tire choice |

What offset would look good with a 17x9 and 215/40r17 on the front of an s14 with about -5 degrees of camber? I was thinking anywhere from 17x9+0 to 17x9-15.. what do you guys think?

Why not? It looks cool, 3-5 degrees is good for drifting anyways. Some people even have up to 9 degrees haha

It looks cool is not a fucking reason to run excessive amount of camber. 9 degrees is beyond fucking retarded. Do you even understand or comprehend why drifters run camber?

That was probably one of the most fanboy thing that I've read on this forum. And please, don't even reply to my response. I automatically threw your intellect/common sense card out of the window with your reply.
..."because drifters use 3-5* of camber" wow. I think you should worry less about how your car looks like and worry more about how to drive or why people run set ups like that. |

lol I know it sounded fanboyish haha but its true. Seriously, Why would you run less than 3 degrees of camber? With the way the 240sx is designed, Macpherson strut setup in the front, and arms in the rear, it's perfect like that. Even autocross racers run 3-5 degrees of camber in the front and 0-2 in the rear. What's your point? And besides this is the WHEEL FITMENT QUESTION THREAD not the roll center, suspension geometry bla bla bla thread

Thanks
