Actually that's a really good idea on the J30 projectors. That would be an easy and cheap source for the necessary parts.

Plastic fades too. Just make sure that your gelcoat is very good quality and UV resistant. Most of the "carbon" parts that fade and yellow are cheap ass quality with non-UV resistant gel-coating.
