No, i'm not the guy mig welding these, as you can see it's tig welded with 309 stainless rod and done correctly, hence my lifetime warranty that I've never had to fix anything with, having welded everything from cast iron to inconel , you should learn who you're talking to before you speak.

Yeah you can tell by the design that a waste gate would be touching the hood, and will be tilted. You didn't even weld the extension straight
