I had the same issue when I installed my specR t28, you have to buy the Megan elbow or Tomei. I'm not sure of any others that fit, but the single port elbows is what you need. the dual port ebay $50 one will NOT fit. I went with Megan and fix the problem.

Also might try reclocking the turbo just a hair.

Reclocking the turbo won't accomplish much, since you can't move the hotside when reclocking a turbo, it only attaches to the manifold one way.
