White bunny clutch flywheel question

Basically I have a Fidanza flywheel model # 143241 for my 240sx and I saw a replacement insert that the 280z and the NA 300zx use the same model number insert (229501) as the 240sx. Now the 240sx, 300zx, and 280z all use different part # flywheels from Fidanza, but that got me to thinking if they use the same insert then they must have the same 240mm surface area on them used for the white bunny setup.

Does this mean that I can use the white bunny clutch setup without changing my flywheel?
Because that would be pretty damn awesome, has anyone tried this? The only reason I can think for this not working would be if the flywheels were a different thickness.

I saw this thread:

SR20DET clutch, 240mm, hardbody flywheel: will it fit??? : KA24E / KA24DE Forum

and they say something to the effect of

I know, from reading White Bunny's special threads on FA that the problem with using the stock 300zx flywheel on the KA shaft is that the KA has a securing nail on it. Don't know if this is the case with the KA truck. You can either have the FW worked to accept the nail or discard the nail, but the nail is supposed to be there for a reason. Also, make sure it is the 4x4 FW, cause I'm under the impression the 4x2 clutch assembly is 225mm.

As long as the 4x4 FW fits the 240 shaft you should be set. Another possibilty is to have the stock 240 FW resurfaced and redrilled for the 4x4 PP.

So just so I'm sure we are talking apples vrs apples here. You will need:

1. 4x4 flywheel or resurfaced/redrilled 240 FW
2. SR 240mm clutch disc
3. 4x4 pressure plate"

Does that mean what I am thinking won't work? I am not sure what they are talking about when they say 4x4 and 4x2.

I have posted this around in a couple of places and I have yet to see an answer back yet of anyone that knows..... Does anyone know if the 300zx flywheel or the D21 flywheel used for this are thicker then the 240sx flywheel?
