I'm turning 28 this year, married and with a 5 yr old. I still daily my 240, can't let it go. Last year I put about 15k miles, the year before that about 10k miles. I'm on my 3rd 240,

the first one I had to let go in 2003 because I wanted to have a ninja 636 and wanted to only pay insurance for one (I know, I didn't realize it was so cheap until after I sold the car)

The second 240 I sold because my son was born and 2 family cars were needed. Strapping my son in the back was not an easy job being that I'm 6'2 (also sold my beloved Ninja)

My 3rd one came along when my son turn 3, now 5yrs old and he loves riding in the front with me (of course, carseat and all) also had to upgrade one family car to a mk6 GTI


All in all, I'm glad I found this thread.... Glad to hear I'm not the only one

I'm more of an enthusiast now.... No more messing around in it like I did 10 yrs ago (excuse the long story)
