I have K-Sport's 7/5... They are great I think. These are the first set of coilovers I have ever owed, so not much comparison. I don't hear any clunks when turning. The only rear complaint I have is they don't go low enough in the rear without comprimising shock travel. Other than that defenately worth my $770 with an extra set of 9kg for the track!

i had on my car the gp sports gr6 and they worked.. not stiff.. to me at least.. also had the silkroad rma8's... bascally anything we sell i've tested on my car just about.. =) in terms of suspension wise at least.. so gp sports or silkroad and Zeal both get thumbs up =)

I also have the ever so popular HEs. I'm on my third year with them, and I just noticed that one of the rear one's might have blown. (Came around a corner trail braking and felt some tire hop on accel)
hmm... no one has Apex N1s? I'd like to know how those are. I'm going to upgrade as soon as my wallet allows me to.

yes, i have N1s, they are the shit, much higher quality shit than my usual doggy poo
love them, awesome on the streets, liveable even driving on the dreaded LA intercity paved-once-in-a-decade roads on 9k/7k springs. and just simply awesome on the track. Can even drive full stiff around town without having to replace my backbone. For comparo. lets talk piston size. tien HEs are 38mm IRC, JICs are 42mm (again, off the top of my head) HKS is 46mm. and N1 pros are 52mm. (48mm for N1 type V) problem with N1s is that stock is really low (or perhaps non-existant) and i've been told that they're not making anymore and Apex is coming out with a replacement line. Not sure how true that is, and i haven't checked stock since i got mine (in Feb) so i dunno for sure.

I just put on my SPL KTS coilovers yesterday. Compared to my TEIN/AGX setup, it can be waayyy stiffer. And I am running on 60 sidewall tires. It's 8k/6k with a 40mm inverted shock up front, and 49mm in the rear. I had an extra set of Cusco camber plates laying around my room and compared them to the KTS camber plates. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!

anyone know what if major differences between the N1 pro, and type V are?.. other than piston size? more aggressive valving?
