RB Rb25 question!

Hey guys, let me start off by saying I'm new to this kinda stuff..but I'm looking at trading my vert rx7 for a rb25 swapped coupe s13. Well, the guy said that they had put the rb in the car in their shop and it's backfiring out of the intake. He said he did a compression test and cylinder #6 is at 30. He says a shop called HPTautoSport did a leak down and said its the exhaust valves. I'm really worried about getting this car due to this problem, so just curious to know what you all thought about this. Thanks for your time, let me know what you think please.

Don't do it. You got a perfectly good car with good exhaust valves so why trade? A 240sx does not get you more pussy or make you classier or get you more friends...and never buy cars from "shops". You wouldn't buy a car from a person if the car doesn't work...a shop is not any different. It's probably worse since every dude in the shop probably had a go at fixing it and it's still broken?? What does that say about the shop??? Context clues my friend, context clues!

He said he's in the army and don't have a garage anymore to do the work. That he had taken it to HPTautosports and they did a leakdown test and it pointed to the exhaust valves. And no I don't want it to make friends or get pussy lol, I love coupes and it has everything I want done to one..my car is just boring.

I saw the same add man! I am currently balls deep in rebuilding my RB25 head. It isn't very difficult to change out valves, but it IS time consuming and gets pricey. (could be hard if you don't have all the tools and machining equipment too.)

I would say just be patient. There is bound to be another s13RB monster popping up on here or on other sites that runs well and doesn't need any work!

OOOOR you could sell that RX7 and build one the way YOU want it
