Hey all, I'm looking at purchasing a s13 with am rb20 swap. Guy says after it warms up it dies sometimes and then starts back up after it cools down. Any ideas what it could be? I was thinking either the maf or coolant temperature sensor. Has a new z32 igniter system and ecu

Id look more into coolant sensor. make sure it has no air in the system. etc. its coolant related maf would cause a hesistation at 3k which its not.

My first guess is the coolant temp sensor. I'll have to try and locate one

Another thing. Car has no code for the cts. Just has a code for the knock sensor

cant help you with codes as I have obd1 and always just diagnose stuff as it seems

Coolant system and the sensor is gonna be my first things to check. Does the rb have a different coolant sensor than the other nissan engines?
