iam guessing the labor charge was yourself?? and did you replace the windshield also??

My friend Jason painted the car for me and did the body work. I am not skilled enough to do that- it takes years of experience. I pulled the trigger a few times for fun while holding my breath but he layed down the final coat. Yes I always get a new windshield when the car gets painted, thats just common sense. They are so cheap and you want that fresh seal and to get the paint in all the tight places the glass should all be removed. One of the tricks is to install the universal windshield strip upside down, it looks more pleasing to the eye.
