^I've already got new apexi hg and arp studs installed. I copper sprayed the hg before assembly, which works awesome, but makes it a bitch to remove the head gasket if you want it off and will probably destroy the hg in the process. I had no plans to remove, hence the bolt on cam plan.

I did not get the head decked when I had it off, since it looked pretty good, so the copper spray was insurance against any sort of leakage. It definitely does a great job! sticky as shit.

You've got a lot to learn young Padawon...

S3's don't require spring upgrades because the cam profiles are designed to use factory springs. I don't care what anyone says, Cody has run S3's for years with track abuse and never swapped his out.

You don't need a "full" standalone. A tuneable factory ecu(Nismotronic, Nistune, Apexi PFC) will be fine for your goals.

When installing a Metal headgasket on ANY motor, surface finish and straightness need to be verified. Just because it "looks" good doesn't mean a damn thing.

As with anything, your setup is only as good as it's weakest link. Make sure you have the fuel capable of pushing your goals.
