heh, if i'm correct, CAS is the Crank Angle Sensor. On the KA you would rotate the distributor towards the rear of the car to retard timing and towards the front of the car to advance timing. If the car kinda starts and missing still. You have to take out the distributor and advance it by a teeth or so. This should allow you to get the correct timing and allow your car to fire. If your car is not firing at all, you might be on the wrong stroke and have to rotate the distributor 180 degrees. For example, if you were at TDC and when u take off the cap the rotor was located on coil number 4, rotate and align it with coil number 1. That should rotate 180 degrees if you were firing on the wrong stroke of the car. Again, adjust the timing accordingly. I hope that helps.

I didnt' answer your question. To set it the pulley at TDC, make sure the the alignment pin is directly above the yellow mark of the pulley (I think its the second one from the left) if your yellow mark faded like mine did. You can go to here for pictures: http://www.240sx.org/faq/articles/timing101.htm . For a Factory Service manual of the cam alignment go here: http://www.zeroyon.com/TheSite/techservice.html . Hope that helps.
