trans grind after engine and trans swap

Hi guys trying to troubleshoot why my trans is grinding after a engine and trans swap from another s14 that was well running and im at a loss any help or ideas would be helpful. Thanks

pulled the engine and trans from a well running car and swapped it in another same year 240 then noticed she started to grind

Did you ever have the new trans off of the engine?
Did you put fluid back in it?
Is the fluid level correct?

I owned the donor car for a few months had no problems
the engine and trans was pulled from the car together and neveroff the engine
yes replaced all fluids before i drove the car and fluids are at the correct levels
what type of information do you need?

what fluid did you use? you can't use GL5 fluids on our cars. that'll eventually f-up the synchros

try adjusting ur clutch pedal under the dash. sounds like its not fully disengaging so u need more travel at the slave by adjusting clutch master pushrod length at pedal under dash for more travel. the 2 cars pedals probably were adjusted differently for different clutches and/or wear

^^ This. GL5 will cause syncro issues as the additives cause corrosion on Nissan bronza syncros.

Its too early for that in this situation though. Check fluid level first and foremost. And unfortunately you may have a syncro issue..
