not to thread jack or be "that guy" but my buddy is selling his wisefab kit with the ackerman kit that was used for 1 season for $1400 shipped. its in great condition and plus angle kits dont really go "bad" especially after one season of use ha. just thought id throw it out there since you mentioned it. Love the car and love the build! keep on keepin on

I'm actually on the in with the local wisefab dealer. I'll also possibly try for some type of sponsorship help but I'm horrible at that stuff.

Sonoma drift finally started again. Some battle damage but it gives me a chance to change the look of my car a little bit. New aero is already in the mail.

Joe from Team Burn the Most put together some sweet footage from last night. Dude was all over my door.

Golden Gate Drift round 2 is in the books.

The event went pretty well. Practice was solid and I was feeling strong. Qualified second, ended up 4th. Would have been third but on my lead run in the consolation the chase car hit me and bent some suspension. My alignment was off and I was unable to fix it so I had to concede the battle. Still leading in points though!

I'm all loaded up for Top Drift Rd. 1 this weekend. Looking forward to it!

I'm leaving here after work around 5~ and with traffic it usually takes me about 8~ hours so I'll be there around 1am. So many podcasts to listen to!

Well Topdrift was a bust. Easily the worst weekend of drifting in my life. Started out on Friday after work. About 1/2 way down I got a flay on I5. Had to limp my 3 wheel trailer to the next exit at like 5 mph which took an hour. Camped on the side of the road until my good friend Joe Tardiff showed up in the morning to give me his spare.

Got back on the road and showed up in time for the second Saturday practice session. Car felt good and I was driving pretty well.

Got into qualifying and went out first out of everyone. Threw down a SOLID run. Crazy angle at the initiation, hit all the clips, rubbed the wall on exit. Felt really good. Decided to go even bigger on my second run and ended up spinning. At least I had that one run in the bag... or so I thought. Apparently I hit a cone after exiting the course which is a zero. Double zero = no qualifying for me.

This was a HUGE disappointment after driving all that way. I'm really just taking it as a learning experience. Just so you know, spotters are everything. If I had known I was sitting on a zero I wouldn't have gone so hard in my second run.

I stayed for the show and helped Joe with his battles and spotting. He ended up 4th but I think he was on to win the event if it wasn't for mechanical failure.

Jumped back in the truck and got another trailer flat on the way home. Had to wait for Joe to come save me again. I finally got home Monday at 10am after what seemed like an eternity on the road.

What I'm taking away from this event:

Hotel room, fuck sleeping in my truck.
Radios and spotters are a must.
Up the mental game, no mistakes.

I'll be back for round 2 and I will finish out both Topdrift and Golden Gate Drift seasons.

This is the good side. Right rear suspension needs to be totally replaced but overall it's a good starting point and it was CRAZY cheap. 9k RPMZZZZ
