Ball Joint Nut trouble :\

Ok one of my retarded ass friends didn't torque down the nut far enough to put the cotter pin on the ball joint on the front driver side lca. I've been driving around for a few days unaware of this until I found out today when I replaced my stock tension rods for some splparts t/c rods. The nut is stuck on the threads and when I try to loosen it it doesnt move because everything is just spinning with the nut. I tried using vice grips buy moving the dust boot down a bit under the spindle and trying to clamp down and hold it while tightening the top. That failed... I tried using air tools as well and the fucking nut doesn't want to budge. Anyone got any Ideas on how I can get the nut off so I can retorque it to spec so that my freaking clunking noises can go away

Two things I think. But I'm not the suspension guru.
Either you need to jack up the LCA to reduce the strain. Or, remove the LCA and get a new ball joint. You either a) Stripped the threads on the stud, or b) unpressed the ball joint.
