custom or s14 seat brackets for r32/r33 gt-r seat?

Just curious, can the seat rail on an s13 or s14 be detached and bolted on to an r32/r33 gt-r seat? It seems a lot easier than welding an extra tab onto the outer seat rail to make them fit into an s13/s14, which is what everyone does on the posts I have found while searching. Thanks in advance!

I don't think it'll fit Norm. But don't quote me on that. I believe James has R33 seats, you should give him a call.

No, it won't work... there's an R32 GT-R FSM in english on the internet somewhere, I have a copy at home. It shows the seat frame construction and it's different from the S13 or S14 seat frames in a few places, not just the length of the tab on the slider.

You should be able to just take the slider off the seat, though, and have a welder do it for a few bucks.
