Mexico was never going to pay for that wall. It was the stupidest thing that anyone was stupid enough to ever believe. At this point, even people in his own party are using whatever means they can to not-so-subtly suggest to him to let it the fuck go. This is probably in hopes that his supporters feel properly betrayed when it never materializes and the US voting public puts them out of their (The GOP's) hair.
Instead of taking the hint, this guy instead decides to try to change the story and say that it should be the military's bill to foot since, you know, they are the ones holding all the cash now. This will never get any better.
And it is ALL Obama and Hillary's fault, remember that and don't let anyone ever let anyone convince you to forget it.

I’d share how much we’re saving each month with the new tax but that’s none of your damn business. I can confirm it’s more that $1.50.
