Plate is currently at the machine shop getting fixed up. I had it trimmed down and added dowels for the transmission. Depending on how many are made at once it will be anywhere between $350-450 for the plate. Waiting to hear back from a few places on manufacturing flywheels so a spacer isn't needed.
First time in months I've thought to do anything with the car. Opening a kitchen required 1000x more effort than I had planned. |

I've been looking into doing that as well. The main issue I see is the starter placement w/ the Z33 trans and how much the linkage and bracket will need to be cut.
with the Z32 trans it was as easy as getting the linkage and bracket from Xcessive for a sr/z32 setup and hammering a larger pocket into the body |

You'd have to go with some sort of smaller clutch with a smaller ring gear. Then you'd also have to go with a starter setup that would work(if it would even work). In the end it would probably be cheaper to go with a T56. The Z32 trans is easier because the starter is on the trans side so you can get away with some of the clutch shenanigans needed.

I've always wondered, when doing adapter plates or just welding piece of one bellhousing onto another tranny bellhousing, how do you guarantee that the trans shaft is perfectly centered in the crank pilot bushing?
