Actually, all the Nordic countries kick are an ass in every category. Their diversity's not on par with the U.S. Singapore is up there in all categories and they are a diverse country. The Nordic countries have oil, and they lead the world in green technology. Electric cars, hydrogen cars, and mass transit. What gives these countries an edge over the U.S.? How do we compete and spread prosperity in this country? Does it start with our elected officials, or does it start from the bottom and works it's way up?

Plenty of regions in America are just like that. Affluent, wealthy, successful, no crime, Tesla in every garage, kids go to top performing private schools.

You can't hyper focus on a single pin point of Europe or Asia and compare it to all of the US. Might as well say "Why can't Baltimore be like the Hamptons? Why doesn't Compton get its shit together like Huntington Beach? Fucks up with Detroit, be like Carmal!!"

Finland has thr highest suicide rate in the world BTW.

Singapore has some of the most brutal laws and social norms in the world. Want to spit gum on the street? 20 cane lashes. Work less then 60 hours a week? Are you a lazy piece of shit!??

In the US you can't even tell a kid in a class room "they are bad" cause it will hurt their self esteem. I'd love to see what people say when you bring back ruler beatings.....

First how about comparing "gun death" to number of guns, since we have something like 500 million guns in this country. They also always rope in suicide, accident and self defense to bolster those numbers. Other countries do not.

Our actual "murder" rate is 4.7 putting us in the lower global half.
