guess what.
i used vice grips to get them off.
be aware, you gotta get a GRIP on them though!

Haha.... ya getting a GRIP on them is the hardpart because of where their located... i guess if u pulled it off i should try again.

Yup, I used Vicegrips too.

Gotta be careful though, you can crack the trim around there, if you care.

You can just buy the right wrench at plenty of hardware store. Or, online at harbor freight or technitool, or something like that.

Oh, i forgot.
Someone suggested to me one to just snap off that pin in the middle.
I bet you could do it w/ a screwdriver or needle nose pliers. if not, then definitely a drill.

Then just a standard torx bit would take it out. you probably have one of them around.

You won't snap the pin off, but you can drill it out.
