To me what that guy said is: essential workers can?t afford to get sick (low hourly wage, shit health care if any) and we can?t afford for them to be sick either (need groceries, nurses, infrastructure repairs) whereas older people are retired and can afford to stay in their home 24/7 and if they do happen to catch corona, they can at least afford the healthcare.

I think the whole ?level the playing field? thing was in reference to the healthcare available to the two parties, not the races. (If it wasn’t, then fuck that racist douche)

Were I in charge, the elderly with preexisting conditions and the essential workers who interact with more than 10 clients/customers/etc per day would be at the top of the list, but there?s no infrastructure to do such things and I?m just a random guy posting on a car forum...
