People can get it under $600 shipped to them. These use OE NTN front bearings (even Nissan NTN S13 bearings are still available new) and their own machined hub.

I still have the set of Attain hubs on my car that I bought in February of 2008 from RHD Japan. Paid $258.88 shipped.

Many track miles on them. They're going to carry over into the car's next life.

raw material shortage > slows production > Less wheels> Higher demand> increase price.
At the rate we are heading now, if you see your dream set of wheels and you have the funds bite the bullet because chances are tomorrow you wont afford to bite shit.

If you're looking for discontinued wheels AKA 17/18" Blitz, Work, SSR you're going to pay through the nose for any quality wheels that pop up in Japan or in the US.

The prices going up are because of shipping from Japan being through the roof more than anything.

I just got a pair of new SSR wheels in less than 3 months through Jesse Streeter.
