i have a sr20det and i'm puting a new head on with a greddy (trust) 1.2mm HG

i was wondering if i really need the liquid gasket between the gasket and the block?

the man says to, but i'm thinking that's more of a stock HG thing? i dont really see why it is really necessary, but i'm no tech.
