My car(s14 zenki sr20det installed by phase2) will idle, but if i come to a stop, it'll act like the BOV is venting no matter how i stop; the idle will drop to ~100-200 rpm and jump around between there and 1200 rpm. I changed the plugs, recently changed the fuel filter (within the past 4,000 miles) I was wondering if it could be the fuel pump (it's a tomei) or maybe it's a bad filter? This just started happening and I haven't done anything to the car for awhile. Any ideas? Maybe if not the pump or the filter, bad gas? I did fill up the day it started happening. Thanks for hearing me out.

Nevermind, I think it was bad gas. I put some fuel injector cleaner +8 gallons of 100 octane and after driving it around it's getting better. Or at least I hope.

OK, I'm wrong. It's still idling like crap, it only happens when it warms up (?makes me think fuel related) and I changed the filter today and it did nothing. Any ideas?

have you talked to the guys at Phase2?
Wayne's crew is awesome, they've helped me out on numerous occasions and I didn't even get my engine from them. BIG assets to the community, give them a buzz.

Is your BOV recirc'd or atmospheric?

It's open, but I've had it on for months, and it's an hks, and it does it at start up, so i'm guessing it's not the BOV, I'm still thinking bad gas. I did email Phase2 (I bought the car from one of their guys) and I'm waiting for a reply.

Well I have an appointment at phase2 today for 3:30, and earlier I got one at G-Dimension for next week, which if phase2 finds the problem, I'll cancel, but I'll let you all know what's up.
