Rear Ball Joint Question

I searched but came up with nothing. Are the rear ball joints the same as the ones in the front? If not, does anyone know were I could obtain a set? I called the dealership and they said they dont know if the are the same and I can only buy the whole control arm setup $160cdn each. Thanks for the help.

replaced both rear about 3 months ago. had to get entire new arms.
