Well, I shipped my KA when I parted out my last 240.
I got a shipping palete that was about the rights size, plopped the engine down on it, and built a wood frame around it. Then, I gave the maintenance guy / forklift operator a box of donuts to pick it up and put it on the loading dock at my school. I used one of the big freight companies to ship it. Unfortunately, i forgot which one. Sorry, thats probaly the info you needed most. I think it might have been Roadway, but not sure. I got a discount too because I sent it from my colleges loading dock and said it was a school related thing. Or, another solution.... ROAD TRIP!!! |
