front of vehicle bumping. help
so today i was out enjoying my new suspension. took a furn fairly fast and now i hear a thumping from the front of my vehicle that stays steady and gets faster as my speed gets faster. it sounds kinda like the thunking as if i had a flat tire but i dont. it also is noticable at very low speeds (5mph) and i can tell the whole front end moves every time it thunks. i just put new adjustable tension rods in, rucas, and coilovers. its a 92 s13. i checked all the rods in the front and the only thing i noticed was that my drivers side tie rod end boot was tore a little. any help is greatly appreciated, its sad when ya put sumin in and another thing goes wrong.

i will check that out, thanx. i torqued the tenstion rods to the factory specs when they got put on but i shall check them tomorrow. if anyone has any other ideas of what it could be please let me know. one of my friends said that it could be an off balance wheel but i checked them and there are all the weights on there i thought. if a wheel that is off balance could cause this could someone please explain it to me.

check the purches on the coilovers to see if there loose, I had a thud sound coming from the front left and couldnt find it. I jacked the car up and noticed I could move the coilover body and spring by hand but wasnt able to when the weight of the car was on it.

so i checked the perches and everything in the front suspension. the springs are snug on the coils. all the bolts are tight and i am going to check tire balance in a couple days when i have access to the balancer. my drivers side tie rod boot is tore but doesnt look that bad yet. i can feel it in the steerign wheel though. I also looked at the tires and it seemed like there was one part on both tires that is a little flatter than the rest. as if i locked up the wheels braking and made the tread there smaller. this problem is really pissing me off.

check the tension rod bracket.. right under the radiator support.. ive noticed on a few s13s that the bolt (often overlooked) can come loose.

ok, i will double check all the bolts. i am going to throw some old rims i have on the front to see if i can narrow it down to something dealing with either the rim or tires or cancel those out of my problems. thanks
