![]() I have a stock Silvia Q's with a REDTOP K's motor swap installed. I am wanting to get this car in around ~350WHP and was wondering if anyone can recommend a turbo package that will get me there but keep my engine as reliable as possible since it is a daily driver. Just looking for a high quality turbo kit that will get my car up in power but not strain the motor with massive boost levels.
- Already installed HKS Hyper Exhaust - Megan 3" stainless downpipe & test pipe - Walbro 255 Fuel Pump - ROM tuned ecu ![]() ![]() ![]()

If there are a "gazillion" options, I am asking because I'm sure some work better than others for specific goals. If me asking for help seems to bother you, I suggest you find someone elses thread to crap in. I did search and that is why I asked. Nothing specific came up or I was not sure if the upgrade was good.
Understand that this is a forum and sometimes people will ask the same question more than once...get over it!

No need to be a prick when someone is asking for help. Obviously I am new to Silvias and all you had to do was post the links that would help me. None of those links came up anywhere near a search so you seem to be contradicting your ignorant comments as you bang your fist on your chest.

My input, as I'm in the market for a turbo to get me right around 350hp also, would be the disco potato turbo. It has great response, able to give you enough thrill at the track when you mash the gas, and still small enough to be very streetable. I don't know the exact product number for the disco potato, I know it's a Garrett unit though. Just search for "disco potato" anywhere on google or the forums. Something should pop up right away. Hope this helps. -ben

the gt28rs is way small for that. Proper turbo would be gt287r .86 for stock manifold options

disco potato is just media-labelled gt28rs. if you want HP like that. look into the gt3035s or gt2871. better off dropping cams, z32 maf, injectors, FPR and fuel rail, an dintake mani if you want to make power like that and not strain the motor IMO anyways. and he's not being a prick, he is tired of the idiots that ask the same questions week in and week out. better yet. look in the tech section under sr20det FAQ, obviously you didn't search well enough, yet you have a jdm silvia (oh oh ah ah) your able to get a silvia Qs over here, a redtop put inside it, yet unable to search numerous forums or use google to find a simple answer to a question asked repeatedly...ugh...just venting...no hard feelings...but you are a newbie tho man...just read threads before asking questions...best way to learn without coming off like a total newbie...

Get a T28 and call it a day...a very inexpensive day.
Oh, 350whp? Get a T88 then. And some Nitrous too.
