S13 SR20DET ignition problem

Folks, I have an S13 redtop SR20 in an S14. I have hooked up all the wires and i am only getting spark at the front coil pack when i crank the engine. Everything else is in check. I have heard that this problem is most likely related to me having an x-type harness where some pins need to be re-arranged at the ECU plug. Does anyone have any details on this or any other suggestions as to why i am only getting spark at the front cylinder? I have 12volts at all of the coils and the ignitor checks out ok according to the FSM test procedure

Cheers.

also see if you are getting signal on the triggers going into the ignitor that way you will be able to trace the problem back through each component.

on those 4 wires that come from the computer to the igniter, what sort of voltage should i expect to see, i expect that it will be a pulse but if anyone has taken readings before it would give me a good place to start.
