I never set out to trash you man; any casual observer of this thread will see pretty quickly that the only one that was projecting (read as: "look at me!") was you; posting a vid I'm sure you know deep down is pretty mediocre at best. Everyone calls you on it, and you find yourself backpedalling and defending your position. You seem be the only one bitching. Don't be butthurt cuz people here are true enthusiasts for the S chassis, and are more than willing to call a spade, a spade. ANY time you make a post who's only purpose is to garner attention, you open yourself to public judgement... now you're pride has taken a hit cuz things didn't turn out how you wanted (ie. praise en-mass). You'll note that none of my posts in this thread we harsh or brutal regarding your "team". I really couldn't give a shit less about what you or your friends do, as long as it doesn't hinder anything I'm doing, or if it hurts someone. I had nothing against you or your car or your team or your dog or your mom, etc etc etc. I think this was just poor judgement on your part. You came to a VERY large, very hardcore enthusiast site, with a chip on your shoulder, and preconceived notions of the respect level you thought you'd receive. you posted your vid and commentary accordingly, and like boy-bands got a rude awakening just after the millenium from the anti-crappy music lashback, you got flamed to hell and back and are now backpedalling to save face. I can't fault you for the latter part. However the whole of the thread's ugliness could have been avoided entirely if you'd have just played it cool, and played it smart. Notice how newbies (to the site, i'm not calling u a noob to cars so settle down), that are humble when they join, are welcomed with open arms. You're NEVER to big to be humble; last year I met Tanigichi, who for all his skill, is one of hte most respectful people I've ever met. You wanna get along with people? Not just here, but the world over. You've got to actually rise above, not just talk about it and do the opposite. |
