did you splice your vacuum hose between the hotpipe and the wastegate?

my friend did the install and i assisted him...
i dont kno too many parts on cars but
all i remember is that we connected a vacume hose from the IC pipe b4 the throttle body (cold air from IC) to the solenoid and out from the solenoid to the actuator/ waste gate.
and to get boost readings we ran another hose line from the fuel management or something, which is located right on top of tha throttle body.

is the hot pipe the pipe after the turbo to the IC?

hot pipe is the line from turbo outlet to IC. You are reading manifold pressure with your gauge and referencing a different pressure for the turbo. If you want a correct boost reading hook up your gauge to the same place as your boost controller.

Ok your turbo is making 10 psi.... but only 7 psi is hitting the manifold. The manifold pressure is always lower than the turbo pressure. Try setting your boost controller to stock or just simply turn it off now take a reading.... the stock turbo goes to 7 psi which is normally around 5psi manifold pressure.

I think it has something to do with your plumbing.... either you have your vacuum hoses backwards on the bleed valve, you don't have it spliced into actuator line, your referencing the wrong vacuum port, your wiring is wrong on the unit itself, or you have a defective unit.

o yeah i think we set it up like the external wastegate, but arent we suppose to set it up like the actuator since the SR comes stock wit the actuators?

my previous set up was that there was a line from the cold pipe connected to the actuator, shouldnt it be the line from the turbine to the actuator?

Its normally from the hotpipe or compressor outlet to the actuator. Then you splice in there and use that as the reference also if you want to set turbo pressure.... if you want to set manifold pressure take a vacuum port off the manifold.
