You should be running Street Mod...if you can drive well, and you turn the boost up some, you should be fairly competive.
From the '01 SCCA rulebook: Street Modified "Drivetrain and related components (induction, ignition, fuel systems, etc.) are unrestricted except for the following limitations: a.) Engine must be from same manufacturer as the body. Maximum engine displacement....... Forced Induction- 3.0L (OHC engines) b.) Vehicle must be legally registered for the street." "The firewall, roof, doors, rear quarter panels, floor pan, trunk lid/rear hatch must remain stock....this specifically allows replacement hoods, fenders, wings, front & rear facicas, and side skirts." The only thing I can't find anything about are the headlights, but as long as they're there, I don't see why it would cause a problem. |
