it's a clear film. they come in many colors and you cut to fit. they're all over ebay.
http://search.ebay.com/search/search...ilm&category0=

plus why would you do this? Saw it on a jgtc car and just had to have it?

hey man, what did you find out then?
I was thinking that the film is pretty ricey, but you're absolutely right about wanting to protect your lenses... Iv'e got S15 headlights too, and I'd certainly like to keep them in the best shape possible.

Hit me back, here or PM, thx!

The yellow eBay film seems to be quite popular. Maybe the natural yellow "tint" on my S14 lights will become cool one day

thought i'd stop lurkin for answers and help out a little. found these products on google.

http://www.clearmask.com/headlight_v2.htm
http://www.clear-guard.com/productsearch.asp

i checked clearmask.com, they seem to have a kit for the s14, zenki and kouki. you can probably find more results if you type "clear headlight film" on google. i'm sure there's a way to get the film in bulk to make a custom kit, in case you can't find it specifically for your car, like for s15 headlights. clear-guard.com has the film in bulk. anyways, hope i helped a little.

ooops. sorry, didn't see that they were only hood and fender paint protectors. i don't think there is anything for kouki s14, you might have to go ahead and buy some film and make it yourself. here's something i'm sure people have seen, a set for the zenki, http://www.autotrimdesign.net/detail...&category=6750. it's pricey, but it comes with headlight, turnsignal, and fog protectors.

i checked out their 'headlight protection faq', and they say they can make you a custom set. so if you have s14 kouki lights or any lights for that matter, and you really want the protectors, you can email them for a quote.

no, the yellowness is from the inside. plastic + humidity from over the years = yellow.

these are to pervent rocks from chipping away at the glass. most people use these on the hood, front bumper, and mirrors on high end cars.
