resolution is 4096 by 1536!!

That's not true. The Mx518 is 1600dpi, while the Mx500 is 800dpi.

Dell LCD monitors rock. I have a 20" non wide screen.

back on topic..IIRC some Sony monitors are rebadgged Dell monitors.

I love the shape of the 500 series...its just not quite heavy enough for me. I think I might take it apart and add some weights or something. The heavier it is (to an extent Im sure) makes it feel more accurate to me. Yeah I play CS. lol

About the Dell LCDs...its not really the size/resolution that I got it for. The contrast is rediculously good. It puts my Samsung 955DF to shame, and I thought that was a pretty decent monitor.

Not to mention I got it for $400 new to the door. Plus its my TV.

no problem. i've been running dual monitors for about 6 years now, started with a 17 and a 15, then added another 15 and got interference. then ditched that extra 15. eventually i got another 17 and had dual 17's til one broke and i went back to 17/15 for what seemed like forever. finally this deal came along and i couldn't pass it up.

i can't stand just having one monitor anymore. so much photoshop, web design, zilvia + 42482 aim windows, etc, just makes so much sense to have two monitors
