s14 window motor?

I have a 95 240sx and my driver side window doesnt go down. I checked the amplifier circuit was fried so I changed it with a 90 240sx amplifier circuit but it does the same thing just clicks. would this mean my window motor is dead?

Also is it possible to take the window motor out of an s13 and make it work in a s14?

had a similar problem but..

it was my switch

got to make sure the switch pushes down hard enough to establish the connection, i tried 2 switches, fixed it on the 2nd switch (got it from friends broken down pathfinder) reason why it didn't work was cause the copper finger inside the switch was a lot harder than the other one so it wouldn't touch, hope that might hav helped you
