S13 Triple beam projector bulb

Yes I searched and alot came up, i clicked n read them, but 1 problem occured on my search, everyone with the conversion that posted that question had dual beam projectors... I need the projector foglight mine blew out today. Searched 2 forums came up empty i pulled the bulb out, was the weirdest bulb i've seen. I run a parts store i got a larg inventory of bulbs dosn't look like anything I have.. It's not a H3 like the low beam..

Haha fo sho.

Its more like the Archive and FAQ section isn't broken

Even better than searching, new accounts should be locked until they spend at least 1 hour in there

So much good info.

somewhat off topic, but pertaining to the triple light projectors --- does anyone know where i can get a harness that plugs into both the low beam and high beam headlights? one of my triple projectors came with one, the other did not. this is the harness that plugs into the stock three prong plug that comes off the popup headlights.

If you want to get one local, the Toyota dealership carries them. They came on some late 90s foglights. A guy came into our store looking for some and i was the only person who knew what they were because i wanted to try and get some for some friends. Not even a european warehouse had them. He later came back and told me the toyota deal carries them instock.

I dont know why your having so much trouble. I picked up a set of silverstars from autozone and they work like a mofo. Bright as hell and easy to wire up. Easily better than what I had before.

Bulbs look like this:

Housing looks like this:

The tab on the housing is negative or ground. The wire/tab coming off the light is pos.

Just get a set of those and hook them up....they are nice and bright...you wont be disappointed.

Yeah, but you can replace the dual prong with a "pigtail" bulb. Look on the actual headlight housing for the ground terminal. It is exactly as shown in the pic above. Run the pigtail into the positive slot and run a lead from the negative slot to the ground on the housing. I replaced all my dual prongs with pigtail silverstars when I had projectors. I have non projectors now. So much more light

exactly....just convert it to the reg. H3. I grounded mine out with a 6 inch neg wire off the housing tab straight to the metal behind the lights. H3c's are much harder to find and this is so easy to do. I have a better light output that before too.

Oh, and incase you can't tell I also have PROJ. fogs. Hence the reason I chimed in to assist.
